DerbyCon was great. If you are thinking about attending a Con next year, plan on DerbyCon 2012. If you are new to security or don't know many in the field, there were probably ten IndySec people at the Con. So try to make an event, meet some people, and then maybe road trip down with one of us next year.

IndySec is more social and OWASP should be more formal and have more training (but less beer). Several of the leaders from IndySec are helping with OWASP.

Meet us tonight at the Upland Indy Tasting Room (they now serve full pints all week). We will be in the back and will get started around 6:30.

Food: They have a very small menu, one of the local "taco trucks" will be outside, and Just Wing'n It is across the street. Plenty of parking on the northwest corner.
